This course meets the requirements of knowledge of the person to be appointed to the duties and responsibilities of an officer of the Company for Maritime Security (CSO), as defined in the XI?2 Chapter of SOLAS 1974, paragraph A / 2.1 0.7 Part a of the ISPS Code, and in particular the tasks and responsibilities for ship security, to ensure the development of the evaluation of ship security, to ensure the development, implementation, maintenance and updating of the plan ship security and communication with the ship security officer (SSO) and protection officers Port Facility (PFSO).
