Ship Security Officer

This course meets the requirements of knowledge that must have the person to be appointed to the tasks and responsibilities of the ship (SSO) security officer, as it is defined in Rule VI/5, section A- VI / 5 y tableA-VI/5 of the International Convention on standards of training, certification and Watchkeeping for seafarers STCW/78 as amended, Chapter XI-2 of SOLAS 1974 as amended and paragraph 2.1.6 and 12 of the ISPS code, part A.

This online course is based upon a 24 hour in-person course and covers the material and practical assessments required by STCW Regulation A-VI/3.
